The setting is nice, right in front of Capitole, very touristy place. The kitchen stays open until way after 11 pm, which is certainly a plus if you feel hungry that late at night. The offer of dishes and drinks is spot on, they have meat, fish, and seafood, and also they have many of my favourite cocktails, made with REAL FRUIT, not syrups. I loathe paying over 10 euro for a cocktail, only to find out it's made with syrups, instead of real fruit. My colleague and I ate grilled octopus , we didn't feel it was grilled then at 11 pm, but it was tasty nevertheless and the pre-cooking situation is understandable, as it was considerably late. It was my first time having a meal on those arcades, and I enjoyed it.

ICafé Le Florida showed up on my AI generated walking tour, and I wasn't planning to eat here, but I found myself walking in front of it at lunch time. I'm glad I chose to eat here, the food was good, the service great, the staff very friendly and accommodating my lack of French language. I had a comfort food plate: Sausage and lentils; wherever I travel around the world I like to eat comfort/folk food.
Last night, my boyfriend, two friends of us and I had dinner at Grand Café Le Florida in Toulouse for New Year’s eve. We all enjoyed fish and meat with various sides. The service was fast and enjoyable. Whilst dining we found the atmosphere amazing: house music playing and dimmed lights. I personally had a cocktail that tasted the best. Meanwhile, my boyfriend and both of our friends shared a bottle of red whine. The restaurant was really well located as it is centered and close to everything. Overall, I would recommend going there to enjoy tasty food and amazings cocktails. Our experience will remain great and memorable from New Year’s eve.
What better place to lunch or dine that the place du Capitole the local townhall. Great terrace friendly staff and local specialties such as duck confit or the famous cassoulet (white beans sausage stew).
Grand Cafe Le Florida is a gem right in the Capitole square! Lovely spot with fantastic service and surprisingly good value for money. Sitting outside was just perfect for soaking in the Toulouse atmosphere. We enjoyed a great breakfast and I bet lunch would be just as wonderful. Don't let the prime location fool you - it's definitely worth it for the quality and service!
A lovely restaurant on Capitol Square with some gluten-free options. However, you should be careful as allergens aren't properly marked on the menu. I ordered the Nicoise salad, which was supposedly suitable, but it came with croutons. They quickly prepared another one for me, but make sure the server notifies the kitchen and confirms that the dishes are safe.
Open late food till 1 pm and drinks till 2 pm when we were there in March. Unoaked Chardonnay was surprisingly good at 5 euro a glass. Sancerre at 8 euro good but not really worth extra. Lively and fun with some good decor features.
